In 2001 I compiled many of the essays, fragments and selections from email, which constituted my thoughts on art and other matters up to that time, and printed it on blank 5 x 8 index cards which I then bound. There are two copies of this book, the first being a draft (not very well bound) and the other being a better bound, better draft version. (In programing lingo, the first one is an alpha version and the second a beta. I never bound a completely corrected ‘release’ version).

Over the past several years I’ve posted some of the texts from this book in various place online. Most of these are compiled on my blog under the ‘collected-writings’ tag. What follows are selections from the book.
